Ministry will mark Hate To Go with a party at The Viper Room on 28 October, billed as an AL-OWEEN bash. Tickets are on Eventbrite. The album itself, subtitled Take Out or Delivery, comes out two days later on 30 October through Cleopatra Records.

Two days early is the point of a record release party and always has been: the room hears it before the shops do. The Viper Room holds a couple of hundred people, which for a band with a hundred and twelve entries in its discography is a deliberately small room.

It matters more than usual because of what the record is supposed to be. Al Jourgensen has said this is the last Ministry album, and he has said it with more conviction than the previous times, and the songs released so far have been presented the same way.

Nothing has been announced about who else is on the bill or whether the band play. The listing says party, not show, and the date sits three days before Halloween, which is where the name comes from.
