Mittags-Abgrund have released a video for "Пой со мной (Грусть в глазах бога)", which translates as "Sing With Me (Sadness in the Eyes of God)". It is the third song revealed from their self-titled debut, due 15 September through Darkness Shall Rise Productions.

The project began in St Petersburg in 2022 and is the work of one person, credited as Sch. The album is its first official release, though it was put together over several years, and runs to nine tracks and 48 minutes including the instrumental pieces that open and close it.

The music moves between black and death metal without keeping them apart. Wide, triumphant passages sit against heavier riffing, with a guest musician credited as F. on drums. All the lyrics are written and performed in Russian, and Sch's vocals shift between howls, croaking and clean chants.

The band name Aeternus, Immortal and Bolzer as reference points for the grandeur, and Morbid Angel for the riffing underneath it.

The album follows the earlier singles "Портреты моих предков" and "Aurora Consurgens". It will be released on two vinyl variants, an A5 digipak CD, cassette and digitally, with physical editions available from the label's store.
