Eleven albums, eleven tracks, and a band that has never done anything by accident. Monolithe release Agalma on 22 January 2027, their eleventh, with eleven songs and cover artwork by Maciej Kamuda.
The French band started in 2001 writing funeral doom in single hour-long pieces, one per album, and have spent the last decade in melodic death and doom at conventional song lengths instead. Kosmodrom came in 2022 and Black Hole District in 2024, a faster rate than they kept for their first fifteen years.
