Moonspell have announced a European tour for spring 2027. The God Is A Vampire Tour opens on Thursday 4 March at the Neue Stadthalle in Langen, Germany, and runs through March into April, and the band describe it as their most ambitious headline run and a thirty fifth anniversary at once.

Two support acts stay for the whole thing rather than changing from country to country: Iotunn, the progressive metal band split between Denmark and the Faroe Islands, and TodoMal, the Spanish atmospheric doom group.

The route is the point of the announcement. Germany first, five nights of it, then the Netherlands, London on 9 March, Rennes and Toulouse, Madrid, Valencia and Barcelona, Paris on 16 March, Switzerland, back through Karlsruhe, Hannover, Geiselwind and Berlin on 21 March, then Munich, Zagreb and Vienna before the eastern leg: Sofia, Thessaloniki, Athens on 31 March, Skopje, Belgrade, Budapest, and Poland in Katowice, Gdansk and Warsaw. Thirty one dates, and the band say plainly that it goes beyond the usual stops.

The record it carries is Far From God, and the band promise a new stage design built for it. Visas kept them off an American tour earlier this year, which makes a continent they can reach without a consulate a reasonable place to spend a spring.
