Mork start their first European headline tour on 9 October in Drachten and finish it on 25 October. Seventeen concerts in seventeen days, with Soulburn as special guest.
Thomas Eriksen says plainly that this is the first headline tour of the continent in the band's history, which for a Norwegian black metal project running since 2004 is worth stopping on. Until now it has been single club shows and festival slots, taken when they came.
Germany carries most of it, with Hamburg, Erfurt, Bamberg, Oldenburg, Bochum and Goettingen, and the rest runs through the Czech Republic, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Slovenia and France. Seventeen nights inside seventeen days is a club tour schedule rather than a theatre one.
At the middle of it is Monolitt, out since 19 June through Peaceville, and a new video for the song Skroemt went up to open the run. Timing a video to the first night rather than to the album is a tour decision rather than a label one: it is there to sell the seventeen rooms, not the record.
