Mexican black metal band Muerto have released an official video for "Veil of Desolation", a track from Eclipsed Realms. Transcending Obscurity Records posted the clip to its channel on 11 September, five months after the album itself came out on 17 April.
The band are a trio from San Juan del Río, in Querétaro, and their first album appeared in 2018. Penny Smitten sings and plays bass, Juan Mondra plays guitars, and Eddel Jared is on drums. The line-up behind them has turned over more than once: two other bassists, two other drummers and another guitarist are listed among the band's former members.
Eclipsed Realms is their third full length. It follows The Settling Fire upon Us from 2018 and Dust Fire Dust from 2023, which makes this the shortest gap the band has left between two records. Transcending Obscurity, which released the album in April, is the label they are signed to now.
