Mystic Circle played their first concerts in twenty years in Latin America, and the footage has been cut into the official video for Seven-Headed Dragon, filmed by Music Mike MX at the Hendrix Circus Bar in Mexico.
The destination was decided before anything else. From the very beginning, we knew that our first tour had to take place in Latin America, said A. Blackwar, crediting Jorg August and Vadim Khomich of The Flaming Arts Agency with making it happen.
That order of events is the interesting part. A German band coming out of a long silence would normally start with the home festivals, where the promoters already know the name. Going to Mexico first means betting on an audience that kept listening while the band were not there, which for this kind of black metal is usually the truer one.
The song comes from the self-titled album of 2022, the record that ended the silence on tape before the stage caught up with it. Beelzebub says they are ready for more and have good musicians in place.
The next date confirmed is 2 January at the Evil New Year Festival, halle02 in Heidelberg, with more planned through 2027.
