Nekrogoblikon have released a video for "The Boiling Sea", filmed at their own shows in Kelowna and Calgary during the tour marking twenty years of the band.

Twenty years is the detail worth sitting with. A band whose entire presentation is built on goblins, and whose first audience found them as a joke on the internet, has outlasted most of the melodic death metal acts who were taken seriously at the time. The costume turned out to be the least interesting thing about them.

The song is the title track of the EP and compilation they put out in April, which makes a live video a reasonable way to keep it in circulation rather than a campaign for anything new.

The anniversary tour has them headlining above Aborted and Signs Of The Swarm, which is a harder bill than the band's reputation suggests, and it runs through Orlando on 23 October, Tampa the day after, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach and Philadelphia on 28 October.
