Noctis Imperium are handing over every cent the single Resistencia makes on Bandcamp to the communities hit by the double earthquake in La Guaira state, and they are doing it nearly three months after the news stopped.

"When we released 'Resistencia', we did so to pay tribute to the resilience in overcoming adversity," the band said. "Today, that premise demands action. Nearly 3 months after the double earthquake that mainly affected La Guaira and central regions of the country, despite any personal contributions we may have made, we feel that our commitment must not waiver."

The money goes through the civil association Los Teques Apoya, with Documetal supporting, and is to be spent on medical supplies, non-perishable food and essential materials in the worst-hit areas rather than handed over as cash.

The band have been in Caracas since 2001 and are one of the few Venezuelan extreme metal names anyone outside the country can reach for.
