Noroth and Mörtual have each put out a song from the split they share, which Night Terrors and Goat Throne Records release on 30 October. Noroth's is "Tongue ov Soot and Ash", Mörtual's is "Eclipse of Dominion".
Noroth come from Seattle and have three albums behind them, It Dwells Amongst Us in 2020, Harbinger in 2021 and Sacrificial Solace in 2024, plus a split with Grave Infestation the same year. Mörtual are from Costa Rica.
Decibel, which premiered both tracks, put the appeal of Noroth's plainly: the timeless sound and the video that comes with it make the song feel like it could have come out at any point between the nineties and now.
