Objector play Romania for the first time this week, with three shows on consecutive nights from Thursday 17 September. The thrash band from Turnhout, Belgium, open at Nemesis Art Club in Timișoara, move to the Metal Bunker XIV festival in Craiova on Friday and close at Omen Bar in Bucharest on Saturday.
In Timișoara the support comes from Chainstruck, a local thrash band formed in 2024. Doors open at 19:00 and the first band starts at 20:00. The show is promoted by MetalBooker, which also put Objector on a bill with Underwaves, Ruyned and the Amsterdam death metal band Gutslasher at Sound Dog in Breda on 3 April.
Metal Bunker returns to the Backstage hall of Casa de Cultură a Studenților in Craiova for its fourteenth edition on 18 and 19 September. Objector play the Friday with Pale Winter, Ruyned and Aeon of Death. The Saturday bill is Avatar, Wormgod, RawKing and Doomsday Astronaut. A day ticket costs 84.74 lei and a two day pass 127.12 lei. The festival is run by volunteers, most of them members of the Craiova band Crimena.
The last night is at Omen Bar in the old town of Bucharest, where Lost Sanity and Saurion share the bill. Doors open at 19:00 and entry is 30 lei.
Objector formed in 2007 around singer and guitarist Bock, the one member who has been in the band throughout. Their album Social Intolerance came out on Malevolence Records in 2018, followed by the EP Slave New World in 2024. In May 2023 they won the Belgian final of the Wacken Metal Battle, which took them to Wacken Open Air that summer.
