Parius will release Alchestronomy on 13 November through Willowtip Records. Two songs from it are already up.

It is their fourth album and the title tells you what kind of band this has become. They started in 2011 playing progressive melodic death metal and have spent the years since moving towards progressive metal with the rock left in, which is a direction that loses an audience and then finds a better one.

AJ Viana and Chris Kelly engineered it and Jamie King mixed and mastered it. King's credits run through two decades of American metal at exactly this scale, the records made by bands with day jobs and a clear idea, and a Willowtip release has meant the same thing for longer.

Three weeks out, with no singles pushed at radio and two tracks simply put up for anyone who wants them. That is how this part of the catalogue has always worked.
