Parkway Drive will play Italy on Sunday 20 June 2027, closing that day at the Ferrara Summer Festival. It is their first Italian concert in eight years.
Eight years is a long absence for a band that size in a market that size, and the explanation is in the rest of the booking: they have spent the cycle in arenas on a world tour that sold out, and are now moving onto the European festival headline slots, where one Italian date covers the country.
Lorna Shore are on the same bill. They sold out Padova at the beginning of February, which is the kind of result that gets a deathcore band moved up a festival poster rather than onto one.
This is the festival's first announcement for 2027, and opening with two bands from the heavy end rather than with a rock headliner says what Ferrara intends the week to be.
