Patriarchs In Black have released Spoiler Alert with a video, the next song out from To Serve Man, which Metalville issue on 8 January.

The story behind it is the one worth repeating. The song was written for a different singer and sat waiting for eight or nine months. Dan Lorenzo, by his own account not a patient man, eventually handed it to Joe Ferrara of The Andretti. "To my shock Joe came up with the lyrics and melody AND sang it less than 24 hours," he says. Jason McMaster, hearing an advance mix, asked where this guy had come from.

That is how the band works. Johnny Kelly, who drummed for Type O Negative and Danzig, and Lorenzo, who writes the riffs and came out of Hades and Non-Fiction, started it at the end of 2021 and have given almost every track on every record to a different voice.

To Serve Man continues that: Mark Sunshine, Jeff Dixon, Sarah Sovak, Kyle Thomas and Ferrara all appear across it, with a violin on one song and a flute on another.
