Pensees Nocturnes have announced Alignement Desastre for 4 December on Les Acteurs de l'Ombre Productions. Seven songs, mixed and mastered by Fred at Henosis Studio.
It is the eighth album from a project that has spent eighteen years pulling black metal towards brass bands, waltzes and circus music and refusing to treat that as a joke. Grand Guignol Orchestra in 2019 and Douce fange in 2022 were both built that way, and nothing in French black metal sounds like either of them.
No single yet, and no tracklist. The announcement is the date and the label, which from this project is enough to put on a calendar.
