Two statements, two hours apart, and they add up to the same thing. Pete Sandoval has left I Am Morbid after four years, and Terrorizer will carry on without David Vincent.

The first post dealt with the tour. He will not play the autumn Morbidfest run through Europe with Atheist and Cancer, and he was careful about why. "During my last tour with the band, I went through a lot. I became very sick with the flu and I wasn't physically at my best, but that is not the reason for my decision." The reason was the repertoire. I Am Morbid plays the Morbid Angel material from Altars Of Madness through Domination, and as he put it, "my history with Morbid Angel continued far beyond Domination. There is a much larger part of my musical legacy that I haven't been able to represent."

The second post was about the band he is keeping. Terrorizer continues, with changes, and Vincent is not among them. "At this point, I don't feel that David Vincent and I can continue working together," he wrote. "David has his personality and his way of working, and I have mine. We are very different people, and professionally those differences have caused us to clash too many times." He added that it is not about hate or a grudge and that he wishes Vincent well.

The last Terrorizer touring line-up was Sandoval on drums, Vincent on bass, Brian Werner of Vital Remains on vocals and Richie Brown on guitar.
