Prophecy Fest has added four bands to its 2027 edition: Master's Hammer, Empyrium, Dordeduh and Arð. They join Falkenbach at the Balver Kulturhöhle in Balve, Germany, from 2 to 4 September. Three day passes, comfort supplements and recreational vehicle parking are already sold out.

Two of the four play special sets. Master's Hammer will concentrate on Ritual. and Jilemnický okultista, the records they released in 1991 and 1992. Empyrium will mark thirty years of Songs of Moors & Misty Fields, which appeared in 1997 and was the reason Prophecy Productions was founded in the first place.

Dordeduh return for the first time since 2021. Hupogrammos and Sol Faur are still working on a third album and the organisers say some of it could reach the set. Arð, the Northumbrian monastic doom project led by Winterfylleth keyboardist Mark Deeks, is also close to finishing a third record and is expected to bring new material with it.

Falkenbach was announced earlier and is still the largest fact of the edition: the project plays its first ever concert at the festival, billed as a world exclusive.

Festival founder Martin Koller said in the announcement: "We have no intention of resting on our laurels, and we will make sure to present a diverse and exciting line-up. That is a promise!"
