Parkway Drive will headline Friday 4 June at Rock for People 2027, the third headliner announced for the festival at Park 360 in Hradec Kralove, which runs from 2 to 5 June.
More than forty acts came with the same announcement, and the metal half of it is the part worth reading: Kreator, Orbit Culture, The Devil Wears Prada, Beartooth, Novelists and Carpenter Brut. Evanescence are billed as special guests on the Thursday, back at this festival after more than ten years.
The shape of the bill says what Rock for People is now. The two headliners announced before this were blink-182 and Faith No More, on the Wednesday and Thursday, so the festival is running a pop punk night, a night built on a reunion nobody expected to see again, and a Friday handed to a metalcore band from Byron Bay with a pyrotechnic show.
One headline slot is still unnamed.
