Rosetta release Temporal Lapse on 27 November through Pelagic Records, and it is their last album.
Seven songs, roughly six years in the making, structured loosely around the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance. Curl Up And Deny, The Winepress, Dvora, Self-Dealing Position, The Native Hue Of Resolution, The Pale Cast Of Thought, Ribbon Of Dawn. The band produced it with Matt Weed and Jeremy S.H. Griffin mixed it.
The lead single is The Native Hue Of Resolution, which with The Pale Cast Of Thought next to it puts two consecutive lines of Hamlet's third soliloquy on the same tracklist.
They have been going in Philadelphia since 2003, from The Galilean Satellites onward, and have released a trailer talking through how long the record took and why they decided to make it the end.
