Sarlic Bliss will put out Melodies of a Dying Dawn on 27 November, six songs that run past forty five minutes between them. It is their second album and the first since Brægn Hæft in 2023.

Seven and a half minutes a song on average is the shape of the record before a note of it is heard, and it is the shape epic doom takes when a band means it. Kronos Mortus describes the writing as melody driven rather than crushing, which fits a group that came out of Mosbach in 2021 with a debut built the same way.

MDD Records have them, and the band file themselves under doom with enough black metal in the vocals that Metal Archives lists both.

Nothing has been taken off it yet. A date in late November and a running time is all there is, which for a second album from a band five years old is the announcement, not the campaign.
