Saxon will sign records in three shops over the weekend Gods Of Thunder is released, starting on the day itself.
Biff Byford, Brian Tatler and Doug Scarratt take the first session on Friday 22 January at five in the afternoon on Oxford Street in London, the second on Saturday 23 January at three at the HMV Vault, and the third on Sunday 24 January at four in Leeds. Guaranteed entry comes with a pre order bundle of the album plus an entry wristband, collected at the shop on the day.
Three generations of the band are in that line. Byford has been there since 1976, Scarratt since 1996, and Tatler arrived from Diamond Head in 2024, which makes this the first album cycle where all three have been in place from the start.
Medusa is the second song out from the record, built on a Greek myth and a riff, with cover art by Peter Sallai, who has done the band's recent sleeves. A separate collector bundle limited to three hundred copies pairs a red vinyl pressing with a signed lyric sheet.
