Serious Black have released a video for "Party in the Sun" and submitted the song as Germany's entry for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2027.
"'Party in the Sun' tells the story of the worldwide heavy metal family," Mario Lochert said, "people from all corners of the globe whose hearts beat to the same rhythm." The idea came out of festivals rather than television, which is an unusual route to that particular stage.
The album it belongs to arrives on 29 January 2027 through PERCEPTION, a division of Reigning Phoenix Music. Nikola Mijic sings, Mario Lochert plays bass, Dominik Sebastian and Maurus Mayer guitars, with Mayer also on keys, and Christian Widmann drums. The band have been spread across several countries since they started, which is part of why the sentiment is not a pose.
