Servant release Lux Ex Inferis today through AOP Records. Nine tracks: In Noctem, Tabula Rasa, Glorification, Thanatos, Embrace of the Night, De Profundis, Lux Fulget, Of Stones, Sleep and Death, The Accuser and Hypnos I See You.
De Profundis is the title of their previous album, from earlier this year, and it turns up here as a song in the middle of the record. Bands do not usually hand a song the name of the album before it unless the two are meant to be read together, and the Latin running through both tracklists says they are.
AOP have the whole record up as a full album stream. The band formed in Hann. Munden in 2021 and this is the fifth release in five years, which is a rate that would be suspicious if the records were worse.
