Seven Kingdoms have announced their sixth album. Sono Sola arrives on 27 January 2027 through Reigning Phoenix Music, with a first single released alongside the announcement.
Ten tracks, and both ends of the production stayed in one building. Jim Morris mixed it at Morrisound Recording and BJ Ramone mastered it there too. Morrisound is the Tampa studio that carries most of the Florida death metal canon on its wall, and a power and thrash metal band keeping a record inside it from mix through master is a choice rather than a convenience.
The band's last full-length was Zenith in 2022, and in 2024 they put out the EP The Square through the same label. January puts four and a half years between albums, the longest wait the band have asked of anyone.
Metal Archives files them as power and thrash metal, which is the right pair for a band who write about fantasy at speed and then let the rhythm guitars argue with it.
