Slayer played Reign In Blood in full on 21 October at the Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City, forty years after it came out, with Power Trip supporting.

The album took up the last ten songs of a twenty three song night, in order, from "Angel Of Death" to "Raining Blood". Everything before it was the career set, with "Hell Awaits" and "213" leading into the anniversary.

Twenty nine minutes is all the record runs, which is why a band can bolt it onto the end of a normal set rather than build a night around it. That brevity was the point in 1986: Def Jam put it out on 7 October, Rick Rubin produced it, and the result was a thrash album that moved faster and ended sooner than anyone expected it to.

This was the third time the band have done it this year, after Shakopee on 4 September and Rocklahoma two days later. Six shows remain in 2026, finishing in South America in December, with Kerry King, Paul Bostaph, Tom Araya and Gary Holt playing all of them.
