Solidity have released Invisible, their third album, through H-Music Hungary, and shot a video for The Revenant inside the House of Music Hungary.
The song is the substantial one on the record, close to eight minutes, and the venue was chosen for what it looks like rather than for convenience. Nine tracks and fifty two minutes in total, recorded across three sessions at No Silence Studios.
What they play has never sat in one place. Thrash underneath, power metal in the melodies, melodic death in the aggression, and electronics used sparingly enough to stay a texture rather than a feature. The band call this the most mature and focused thing they have made without giving up the variety that has been there from the start, which is the usual claim, except that the running order supports it.
Laszlo Triesz on guitar and Attila Kovacs on vocals started the band in Budapest in 2012. An Abnormal Collection came in 2016, Evolution of Prodigality in 2022. The words deal with personal struggle, with society and with a world the band clearly find harder to read than it used to be.
