Sandviken in 1986 was not where anyone expected Swedish death metal to keep going from. Sorcery release The Immaculate Sin on 1 October through Xtreem Music, on CD.
The ten tracks are Shadowborn, Set the World Ablaze, Stand as One or Fall Divided, Terminate, Paralyzed, Slice It Up, The Door to My Black Soul, The Exorcist, Flood and Die in Retribution. The label has already put out three of them, Shadowborn, Terminate and Die in Retribution, ahead of the record.
The band formed in 1986, stopped in 1997 and came back in 2009. Ola Malmstrom has sung in both runs and Paul Johansson has been on guitars for both, which gives the second half of the band's life a direct line to the first.
