Suffocation play five shows across Spain and Portugal between 21 and 25 October, with Ingested, Undeath and Eternal on the bill. The run closes on Sunday 25 October at Razzmatazz 2 in Barcelona.
The cities are Bilbao, Madrid, Lisbon, Alicante and Barcelona, which is five dates in five days and the kind of schedule that only works when a package travels together rather than picking up local support in each town.
It is also an unusually strong package for a club run. Suffocation wrote the grammar that most of the bands behind them on this bill still use, and Undeath are the newest American band to be handed that lineage, so the order of the names is close to a history lesson.
The band have been doing this for more than thirty years out of New York, and the Iberian peninsula is not a region they visit often. Five nights in a week makes up for a lot of years of not going.
