Suicide Silence and Fleshgod Apocalypse will share the top of the bill across twenty six European dates next spring, with To The Grave and The Gloom In The Corner opening.
It begins on 22 April at Festsaal Kreuzberg in Berlin and ends on 23 May at Sala Mon Live in Madrid. In between: Geiselwind, Hamburg, Eindhoven, then six nights in Britain from Southampton to Bristol, back through Sint Niklaas, Saarbrücken, Frankfurt, Oberhausen and Leipzig, east to Warsaw, Budapest, Vienna and Prague, then Karlsruhe, Munich, Aarau, Milan, Barcelona, Vitoria Gasteiz and Madrid.
Pairing these two is the interesting part of the booking. One is the Californian band who did as much as anyone to define deathcore, the other an Italian group who built symphonic death metal around an actual pianist, and their audiences overlap less than the poster suggests.
Four bands a night across a month of club shows is a heavy load for everyone involved, which is what a co-headline is for: two draws sharing the same costs.
Tickets go on sale on Friday 6 November.
