Greek groove metal band Telma announced a new line-up on 22 September. Savvina Batsi takes over vocals and Giannis Paparseniou joins on guitar.
The band chose to introduce the change through music rather than through a statement. Two songs already in the catalogue have been recorded again with Batsi singing, released to the band's digital platforms and posted as videos on YouTube. The first, Perfect Storm, comes from Eternal, the 2021 debut. The second is the title track of Awakening, released in 2025.
Telma formed in 2021 in Larissa, in Thessaly, and have played in Greece and abroad since. Eternal and Awakening are the band's only two full-lengths.
Telma say new material is in development and that the next stretch will bring both releases and live dates. No titles, no dates and no label have been announced.
