Temic have put out Ashes, the third song released ahead of their second album, and it is the one that opens the record.
“The album is a concept album about loss in all its various forms,” the band say. “Ashes begins the album's journey shrouded by turmoil and hopelessness. But through that struggle comes the fight for renewal and, ultimately, inner strength.” Heavy, then, but pointed upward, which is an unusual place to start a record about grief.
