Temple Of Void have an official music video for "Godless Cynic", the second song on The Crawl, through Relapse Records.
The album came out on 6 March, which makes the timing the interesting part. A video seven months after release is not a single campaign; it is a label keeping a record in front of people long after the release week is over, and it usually means the album has kept selling.
"Godless Cynic" is a reasonable choice for it. The Crawl runs seven songs, from "Poison Icon" to "The Twin Stranger", and this one sits early enough to be the album's calling card without being the title track.
The band have been doing this since 2013, and what they do has not moved: death metal played at doom tempos, with the weight on the riff rather than on the speed. A split with Outer Heaven arrived this month, so the year has not been quiet.
