TesseracT have postponed The Descent, their tour of the United Kingdom and Germany, which was to run from 30 October to 8 November. The new dates are in March 2027 and tickets already bought remain valid.

Most postponement statements stop at the word unforeseen. This one does not. The band apologise directly to everyone who has already spent money on travel and accommodation, say they know it affects those plans too and that they do not take that lightly, and then give a reason: some important elements of their plans have changed, and they decided it was better to take more time and line everything up properly than to rush ahead with something that was not quite where they wanted it.

They add that they are already working on the next steps and have plenty planned for the months ahead, with more to share soon.

TesseracT formed in Milton Keynes in 2003, out of what Acle Kahney was writing with Mikaw Barish while he was also in Fellsilent, and a three song demo in 2007 already carried parts of what became One. Daniel Tompkins sings, Kahney and James Monteith play guitar, Amos Williams bass and Jay Postones drums.
