The Keening have released a visualizer for Devotion III - The King, from Devotion, out on 16 October through Relapse Records.
Four of the seven tracks are the Devotion suite, in order: Golden Thread, Fitful Sleep, The King and O Mother. A Little Bit Of Blood, Time Travel and The Murder of Anna Brown follow, and the last three run past seven minutes each. Relapse describe the record as slow burning ethereal post rock, folk, goth and soaring doom, which is a long way of saying it does not stay in one of them.
Rebecca Vernon leads it, on guitars and keyboards and vocals. Anyone who followed SubRosa knows the register already, and this project has been the quieter continuation of it.
