Cradle of Filth are reissuing Dusk… And Her Embrace for its 30th anniversary. Music For Nations releases the new edition on 30 October, on splattered vinyl and as a numbered deluxe CD in a coffin box, sold together with a signed print of the artwork.
The band's announcement calls the 1996 album "a paradigmatic revolution in gothic, symphonic and extreme metal", and notes that "Heaven Torn Asunder", "Funeral In Carpathia", "A Gothic Romance" and the title track are still cornerstones of the live set.
The vinyl carries the nine original tracks, from "Humana Inspired To Nightmare" to "Haunted". The CD adds two bonus tracks, "Hell Awaits" and "Carmilla's Masque".
It is not the first time the band has gone back to the record. In 2016 they released Dusk and Her Embrace (The Original Sin), the earlier recording of the album.
Dusk… And Her Embrace was the band's second album, after The Principle of Evil Made Flesh in 1994. Their most recent is Existence Is Futile, from 2021.
