Thy Legacy released The Call on 11 September through Nameless Grave Records. It is the first album by the Cretan band and it runs thirty-two minutes and eighteen seconds.
Eight titles: Heavy Metal Rising, The Call, Metal Legion, Holy Storm, Chasing Glory, The Amulet, Seven Witches and The Road to Helheim. Two of them, the title track at one minute fifty-seven and The Amulet at one minute fifty-one, are shorter than the intro on most albums that talk this way. The longest, The Road to Helheim, takes six minutes and forty-one.
The line-up is Jim Ritsopoulos on vocals and guitars, A.D. Guillotine on rhythm guitar, Nikos Frantzeskakis on bass and Babis Antaloudakis on drums. Giannis Pratikakis recorded the instruments, Nikos Trialonis recorded the vocals and mixed, Bart Gabriel mastered. The cover was painted by Mars Triumph, who plays in Triumpher.
Nameless Grave puts the band next to Omen, Manowar, Eternal Champion and Wrathblade, which is the company every band of this kind asks for and a smaller number earn.
