Trick Or Treat have put out "Time For Us All", the first song from Evil Needs Candy Too: 20th Anniversary Edition.
That record is the debut played again rather than reissued, recorded this year by the line-up the band have now, twenty years after the original. Simone Mularoni mixed and mastered it, and the live footage in the video was shot at Feudalesimo Open Air Fest by Simone D'Addazio.
A re-recording is usually a rights manoeuvre or a nostalgia product. This one is neither: the band own the songs, the people playing them are mostly not the people who played them in 2006, and the point is to hear what twenty years of touring did to material written by a group of Italians who had barely left Modena.
They present the album at Circolo Fuori Orario in Taneto on Saturday 31 October, which is the right date for a band with that name.
