Trolldom have put Tronen up in full, four days before it comes out on 30 October through Debemur Morti Productions.
There is no statement with it. Kronos Mortus note that the project prefers the music to stand without explanation, which in atmospheric black metal is less a pose than a working method: the records are long, the vocals are buried, and anything said about them in advance tends to get in the way.
It is one person, working out of Sweden since 2004, and this is the third album. Streaming the whole thing before release is a choice that only makes sense at this level, where nobody is protecting a first week chart position and the audience either listens or does not.
Debemur Morti have spent twenty years releasing exactly this kind of record, and the label name on a sleeve still functions as a recommendation for a certain sort of listener.
Four days, and the whole thing is already there.
