TrollfesT have released Claiming the Walk Of Fame, the second and final single before Trollywood, their tenth album, out on 6 November through Reaper Entertainment.
The premise is exactly as silly as the title suggests and the band mean it that way. Trollywood is a place where trolls chase success, Hollywood mythology runs into absurdity, and the promises the entertainment industry makes get pushed until they break. The first single, Day Drinking, went at it from the festival end; this one opens the gates wider.
The band call what they do True Norwegian Balkan Metal, which is a joke and also an accurate description: Balkan brass and folk instrumentation played at black metal tempo, out of Oslo since 2003. Ten albums in, they have not once pretended to be serious, and the playing has never been anything but.
