Undeath have released Arterial Bombardment, their first single for Relapse Records, while the band are in the middle of a European run.

Colin Marston engineered, mixed and mastered it, which for a band that has spent its whole career sounding deliberately filthy is a choice worth noting: Marston is the man most often called in when a death metal record needs to be legible without losing weight. The label calls the song non stop riffing and blasting, and says it signals what comes next.

The timing is the other part. They are out with Suffocation, Ingested and Eternal from 8 October, then take their own headline run from 30 October, starting at the Slaughter Club in Milan, the Kranhalle in Munich and a Berlin date the day after. A new single and a new label dropped into the middle of a long autumn on the road is a way of making the tour carry the announcement.

Undeath formed in Rochester in 2018 and have two albums behind them, It's Time to Rise from the Grave in 2022 and More Insane in 2024, with an EP last year.
