Underoath played their last Vans Warped Tour date of 2026 in Mexico City this past weekend, and have marked the end of it with a performance video of Damn Excuses filmed on the Long Beach date.
The song comes from Voyeurist, the 2022 album, and had been out of the set until recently. Chris Dudley's explanation for bringing it back is short: “Damn Excuses is just one of the heaviest songs we've ever written, period. When we include it in the set, it's always because we want to get gnar.”
They took the main stage at three Warped dates this year, Washington, Long Beach and Mexico City, and filled the gaps between them with the smallest rooms they have played in years, a run through independent venues with Held opening.
What follows is festivals and then an anniversary. Louder Than Life this weekend, then Four Chord, Furnace, Aftershock and Sick New World, and after that the tour for the twentieth birthday of Define the Great Line, with August Burns Red, Atreyu, As Cities Burn and Emery along for it. Several of those dates have already sold out.
