A day after Mike Joseph Clampitt left VCTMS and published his reasons, the drummer he named has posted something short.
Meredith Henderson wrote that she has seen all that is being said and is reflecting on everything before jumping to speak, thanked everyone who has supported her or the band, and thanked in particular the people who have checked in on her.
That is not a denial and it is not an admission, and it is the only sensible first move. Clampitt's statement alleged that she berated band members and crew, threw objects, humiliated people publicly, withheld payments and misused band money. Lambgoat, which published both, notes plainly that none of it has been independently verified.
What happens next is the part that matters. One departing member's account and one holding statement leave the band where it was: a line-up that has rotated for years, and a question about why, which neither of these statements answers. Henderson says she will speak publicly later.
