Visions of Atlantis have been added to the line-up of 70000 Tons of Metal 2027, the festival held on a Caribbean cruise.
The 2027 sailing runs from 14 to 18 January, leaving Miami for Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic and back, aboard Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas. Along with the concerts on the open-air stage, the festival puts on artist-hosted events and meet-and-greets with every band.
Sixty bands will play in total and thirty are announced so far, among them Arch Enemy, Exodus, Moonspell, Obscura, Origin, Hammerfall, Evergrey, Enforcer, Primal Fear, Naglfar and Warbringer.
Wolfheart will give the world live premiere of their forthcoming album on board, and footage from that set is to be used in a video. "It is an absolute honor to step on the deck of the mighty 70000 Tons Of Metal for the 3rd time," said Tuomas Saukkonen.
