Vlad In Tears have released All Night and announced six German dates in December under the name Undead.
The run is 3 December at the Kubana in Siegburg, 4 December at the Kufa in Krefeld, then 9 December at the Backstage in Munich, 10 December at the Exil in Göttingen, 11 December at Das Rind in Rüsselsheim and 12 December at the Bastard Club in Osnabrück. Six venues in ten days, all of them clubs rather than halls.
The single is a Christmas song, which the band immediately argue against. "All Night isn't about Christmas," they say. "It's about that one person who can make even the coldest night feel like fire."
Whether that distinction survives the snow in the artwork is a matter for the listener, but the hedge is familiar: a seasonal release gets attention in December and a band with a tour to fill would rather it did not define them.
The line-up is Christian Miconi singing, Alessio Miconi on lead guitar, Puneete Vohra on guitar, Dario Miconi on bass and Francesco Cosma on drums. They put out The Last To Love Me earlier in the cycle.
