Voice Of Ruin will release a four track EP on 11 February, and have put out the first song from it, "Breed Of Servants", with a video.
An EP is a choice here rather than a shortfall. The band have four albums behind them, the most recent being Cold Epiphany in 2023, and a group eighteen years into its life usually reaches for another full length. Four songs costs less studio time and reaches the audience faster, which is the arithmetic a lot of bands at this level are doing now.
The sound has stayed where it was: thrash with the groove metal weight underneath it, closer to the American end of the nineties than to anything Swiss. Nyon is a small town on Lake Geneva, and the band have spent most of their career getting out of it, through Tenacity Music and the European festival circuit.
The EP has no title yet, only the date and the first song.
