Volucrine release Chapter V: Renewal tomorrow, 25 September, through Inverse Records.
Thirteen songs, the longest tracklist the band has put its name to. Inverse has three of them out as videos: Borderline, which opens the album at 3:16, Golem at 3:24, and the one called Volucrine, at 4:51. Renewal sits eleventh and Talk twelfth, before The Sum of Changes closes it.
It is the fourth album and the first since Etna in 2024. The band formed in Kouvola in 2014 and keeps two of its founders, Jupe Velin on vocals and Joni Kyynäräinen on bass; Jani-Sebastian Aalto has drummed since 2019, Marko Orava joined on guitar in 2023 and Erik Lindroos in 2024.
