Vredensdal was finished. Four albums and a couple of EPs between 2019 and 2023, up to Sonic Devotion to Darkness, and then the man behind it, who calls himself the Goblin Reaper, stopped. He kept writing and recording, but he did not want new ideas tied to an old name.
He started something else instead, Cranial Vortex, whose Infinite Interactions came out at the end of 2024. But there was more Vredensdal recorded in 2023 that had never been released, and he went back to it.
That is Mystery & Power, due in October, and Consortium of Fools is its second track, premiered by Decibel.
