W.A.S.P. did not play their show on 3 October at the Carteret Performing Arts Center in Carteret, New Jersey. The venue announced it on the night: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, W.A.S.P. will not be performing tonight. KK's Priest will be performing a headline set. If you choose not to enter the venue and attend the show, ticket refunds or credit information will be communicated starting Monday, October 5th."
No reason beyond unforeseen circumstances has been given. KK's Priest, booked as support, played the headline set instead, which is why the show went ahead at all.
The rest of the run is still standing, and it is a long one: Montreal on 5 October, Ottawa on the 6th, Pickering on the 7th, Des Plaines on the 9th, St Charles on the 10th and 11th, Glenside on the 13th, Harrisburg on the 14th, Cleveland on the 15th, Milwaukee on the 16th, Green Bay on the 17th, Winnipeg on the 19th, Edmonton on the 21st, Calgary on the 22nd, Coquitlam on the 23rd and sold out, Seattle on the 25th, San Jose on the 27th, Rancho Mirage on the 29th, Las Vegas on the 30th and Anaheim on the 31st.
The tour opened with a setlist the band had never played live, as we reported when it started.
