W.A.S.P. opened the 1984 To Headless tour of North America at Emo's in Austin on 16 September, with a set list built out of things the band have mostly avoided playing.

"Easy Living" and "Mephisto Waltz" had never been performed live until this year. "Mr. Cool" comes from Sister, the band Blackie Lawless was in before this one, and had also never been played. "Fistful of Diamonds" was last heard in 1986 and "Thunderhead" in 1989.

"Every night it really is special," Lawless said, which from a band forty four years into their existence is either a stock line or the only reason to keep doing it.
