Winterforge have released "From Hell's Heart", a new single with a lyric video made with the Brazilian filmmaker Iandro Porto of Shaumbra ArtVisuals.

The lyric comes from Herman Melville's Moby Dick. Vocalist Aleksander Halicki said the song is about the struggle against nature, fate or God, and about the attempt to understand what cannot be understood. "The main character, Captain Ahab, carries hell within himself, and his mind is consumed by demons of vengeance," he said, which is where the title comes from. He also points to the line from The Tempest about hell being empty and all the devils being here, as a description of both the characters and humanity.

The sessions were spread across Poland: guitars, bass and synthesizers at Invictus Republic Studio in Warsaw, drums at Sunstorm Studio in the same city and vocals at Heinrich House Studio in Legionowo, where Filip Hałucha mixed and mastered.

The band began in 2018 as a studio project and turned into a live band after their debut album, Hiemal, in April 2024. They have since played Opoczno Strikes Again in Poland and the Gothoom Open Air festival in Slovakia. The line-up is Aleksander Halicki on vocals, Vartek Vinter on guitars and synths, Piotr Ślęzak on bass and Piotr Zalejski on drums.
